Associate members
EnergieNed offers members a platform for consultation and exchange of knowledge amongst themselves. The knowledge of its members combined with the expertise of EnergieNed's bureau make it truly a centre of excellence, a place for launching new initiatives, where ideas can be evaluated on their merit, and where members can work together towards common goals.
EnergieNed's members do business in many areas. And in view of the economic and societal importance they share, EnergieNed's members have many general interests in common. This also extends to specific business interests, depending on their position in the energy chain. It is for this reason that the Federation comprises five sections in which member companies can meet and discuss these interests. Most members belong to more than one section. Members of the section Generation are large
and medium-sized generators of electricity and/or combined heat
and power. The section Infrastructure Companies deals with matters
concerning infrastructure for transport of gas, electricity and
heat. Members of the section Trade and Sales are involved in the
trade or supply of energy. The section Retail is a forum for companies
that supply to households and small businesses. Members of the section
Network Operators are companies that are licensed to manage specific
parts of the grid; this section is the representative to the regulatory
authority.
