the results - list of titles
You will
then get a reminder of your search criteria
and the number of files found in the database
(at the moment of your selection, and within
the time-rage selected).
Below are
the files found. They are sorted in sections
in the same way as presented in the Newsletter
:
- European Union
- Events / News
- Official Publications
- Points of Reference / News
- Events / News
- Announcement / Updates
- European Energy Foundation
- Events / News
- Announcements / Updates
N.B. : sections only appear
if they hold information to show.
In each
section, the files are listed in alphabetical
order; below each file's title (telegraphic
style) is a link to all the events related
to that file, and a link to the Procedure
Chart when the file follows an inter-institutional
legislative procedure (codecision, cooperation,
consultation, assent).

Files related
to inter-institutional legislative procedure
hold not only each step of the procedure,
but also side and follow-up events (press
releases, implementations, etc.) :

in this case,
the file holds more than the 10 (out of 12
possible) steps of the codecision procedure.
Full
list of related acts/events
Clicking
on "All Events" opens the full list
of the acts/events. It starts by the
full subject/title, followed by the themes
to which the act/event is related. Then the
list is displayed in reversed chronological
order, stating the nature of the acts/events
(telegraphic style).
If the file
follows a legislative procedure, clicking
then on the file's full title opens in a new
window either the initial proposal (if the
procedure is not finished) or the legislative
document (if the procedure if finished).
Below the
title are the themes to which it is related.
Clickable themes lead to general information
on the subject.
Detailed
description of a result - act/event
The detailed
description of the act/event starts by the
file's full title. Then the event is
presented, followed by more detailed information.
N.B. : the
information on the official publication date,
on the event's announcement date, or on the
document's update date is a new service not
yet available for all acts/events.
Detailed information on the act/event comes
from the sources indicated in the Files Section
introduction and is given "as is".

...
The description
finishes with a reminder of the themes to
which the file is related, the actor(s) involved
in the act/event, and the section in the former
printed newsletter.
...

Procedure
chart
The procedure's graphical
representation also starts by the file's full
title, followed by the themes to which it
is related. Underneath are the steps of the
procedure : the steps already done are in
bright colors, those which could be done in
the future are in greyer colors, those which
can not be done are marked with a cross. If
you click on one of the chart's graphical
elements you will get the more detailed description
of the selected act/event.
